Kaitlin Getz - PA-C
Pursing a career in medicine has been a goal of mine ever since I was in high school. I began by working as a nursing assistant and from there became a surgical technician in labor and delivery. While in college at Taylor University I was also able to participate in overseas medical missions trips. My passion for helping others grew during these experiences and gave me the desire to become a physician assistant.
I pursued my physician assistant masters degree from the University of Toledo. During my clinical rotations I became even more interested in pursuing a career in women's services. I had the oppurtuitny to work in an OB/GYN clinic as well as in fetal diagnosis and labor and delivery. While in labor and delivery I was able to assist in both deliveries and C-sections.
It is my goal in working for Women's Doc to strive for excellence when providing healthcare for all my patients I will work hard to meet the needs of my patients while working along side and learning from Dr. Merchant. It is truly an honor to work in collaboration with such a well rounded and compassionate health care provider.
At Women's Doc we understand the importance of having a heatlthcare provider that you can trust. It is for this reason that we are commited to forming relationships with our patients that go far beyond their physical needs.
Kim Liebert, PA-C
My career in medicine began during my senior year of high school. I enrolled in a health apprenticeship program and took courses to earn a nursing assistant certification. While attending the University of Wisconsin, Madison, I worked part-time as a nursing assistant. I gained exposure to several Physician Assistants and decided to pursue the PA career myself.
I continued my education at the University of Toledo-Health Science Campus and received a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. My clinical rotations for Physician Assistant studies were completed in area hospitals and clinics of Toledo, OH, Rockford, IL, Oro Valley, AZ and Adrian, MI.
Being a PA in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Women’s Doc has been a wonderful experience and it is a great joy to work in collaboration with Dr. Rode. The compassionate nature of my personality is evident when caring for my patients as I treat them all with respect. Women appreciate having an understanding female provider with whom they can relate to and form a trusting connection between each other.
At Women’s Doc, we make every effort to respond to the issues and concerns of the patients in a timely manner to ensure they are receiving the attention they deserve. I strive to continue the utmost care as demonstrated by Dr. Rode and my colleagues.
Jaida Paine, PA-C
I have had an interest in medicine since I was a child, always seeming to be
the caretaker of anyone who was sick. My interest increased while attending
Ball State University as I studied both biology and medicine and worked as a
phlebotomist in my hometown hospital. After receiving my undergraduate degree I continued my education and obtained a Masters of Science degree from IUPUI. I decided to use my degree to work in the field of pediatric cancer research.
During this time I had the privilege of participating in several overseas
medical missions trips, which confirmed my passion to become a healthcare
provider, and helped me to realize that my true desire was to work
one-on-one with patients on a daily basis. I then went back to school to
obtain a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Butler
University. I completed my clinical rotations in several hospitals and
clinics in the Indianapolis, IN area.
I enjoy working with patients of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. I make a personal commitment to provide caring, comprehensive, and quality care to every single one of my patients, never forgetting that the patient always
comes first. At Women’s Doc we strive to help our patients make the right decisions that
produce healthy, enjoyable lives. I look forward to working with you and
your family to help make your future bright and successful.

It is truly an honor and a gift to be able to work as a health care provider. A rare career that transcends language and culture, medicine saves lives and improves wellness around the world. As a Physician
Assistant, I am grateful to be a part of a team of physicians and PAs working together to do just that.
I grew up in Carthage, IL, and began to pursue a career in medicine during my time at Illinois Wesleyan University. Soon after, I worked as a Physical Therapy technician before spending almost a year doing missionary work at a community health clinic in South Africa. While I was there, I gained an even deeper passion to serve in health care and be able to care for patients with various needs and across all settings.
This led me to pursue a Master of Public Health as well as a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in Philadelphia, PA. In combination, I learned to not only care for patients medically but also to address the social needs of patients with an open and holistic perspective.
After spending time in several clinical settings, I came to love and appreciate the significance of both family medicine and women’s health. To me, they both allow a continuity of relationships with patients, which I believe is one of the most important aspects in giving quality and trusted care. I am looking forward to the privilege of serving and building relationships at Women’s Doc.
